Decided to change the name of the blog. I still like it but it is too idiosyncratic. I had started another art blog a while ago but I didn't publish and decided to keep using this blog. I am going to use that blog space & name and I have already transferred all previous entries of this blog over.
I learned from reading other blogs that everyone who writes for long enough changes their blog style, content or name. You aren't the same person when you started the blog, you make lots of mistakes that you want to fix and so it is either stop or change. There are a couple art blogs that I used to read that just stopped. I know that one artist Kirsty Hall commenced a year long daily art project and naturally has put all her energy into this. The other was Denna Wood's blog Artist, Emerging. She just stopped two years ago and I still wonder what happened as I cannot find a trace of a new blog or updates on her website either. The resources she left behind are still relevant.
